Assessment and Consulting
Our Forensic Brain Injury & Concussion Evaluations provide detailed neuropsychological assessments for concussion, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and related medical events. Whether from a car accident, workplace injury, or other incidents, these evaluations help clarify recovery needs, rehabilitation goals, and legal documentation.
Each evaluation includes a detailed neurobehavioral status exam, paper/pencile and digital neurocognitive testing, clinical interview, medical and academic record review. Reports are highly detailed and prepared for legal use.
Because of the forensic nature, same-day results are not available. Reports are carefully prepared to support recovery planning or litigation. Learn more about concussion and TBI from the CDC Traumatic Brain Injury Guidelines .
Because Brain Injury & Concussion Evaluations are forensic in nature, they are typically self-pay. In accordance with the APA Forensic Psychology Guidelines, Guideline 5.02: Fee Arrangements:
"Because of the threat to impartiality presented by the acceptance of contingent fees and associated legal prohibitions, forensic practitioners strive to avoid providing professional services on the basis of contingent fees."
Fees must be paid upfront to maintain objectivity and ensure the evaluation is independent and legally defensible. Contingent or delayed payments could raise questions about impartiality and the credibility of the assessment.
